  • They were nobles, so they don't apply in this case.67.173.23.66 (talk) 21:36, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
At the time of her marriage Anne Hyde wasn't a noble, her father was created Baron Hyde and Earl of Clarendon after the marriage. He was a lawyer and MP. 2607:9880:19C0:84:483F:E5A5:516:576D (talk) 01:34, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

People who ceased to be royals upon marriage[edit]

Should people like the Counts of Rosenberg or former Japanese princesses be included as they ceased to be royal after their marriages? In the former case, the fact that the spouses were commoners was the reason they gave up their titles, so that's a different situation from modern non royal marriages.67.173.23.66 (talk) 21:35, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pretty unusual itself, no? Giving up royalty to marry? Hyperbolick (talk) 03:02, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't too uncommon in the past, as shown on Category:Counts of Rosenborg and Count of Wisborg.67.173.23.66 (talk) 01:03, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
