List of rulers of Aq QoyunluList of sultans of the Aq Qoyunlu – Similar to the List of sultans of the Ottoman Empire. These "rulers" do have a title and it's sultan. It's better to list them as sultans instead of calling "rulers". Beshogur (talk) 23:46, 22 January 2021 (UTC) Relisting. —Nnadigoodluck 11:29, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Not all of their rulers wore that title, I'm not even sure if it was their principal title after they adopted it. --HistoryofIran (talk) 14:30, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The list uses the title bey for them, not sultan. Dimadick (talk) 19:22, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Dimadick: @HistoryofIran: should "List of Begs" an appropriate title? Considering, everyone including Uzun Hasan is called beg in every other source? Beshogur (talk) 20:13, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Beg is not necessarily a title (can be simply part of a name too, well, at least by that period). Even if it was meant as a title, it certainly wasn't their principal title for the whole period (that was later sultan/padishah). Also, the current name is more practical as well imho. --HistoryofIran (talk) 20:31, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Even if it was meant as a title, it certainly wasn't their principal title for the whole period (that was later sultan/padishah). How's that a personal name? That time there was no sense of a name and surname. It's obviously a title. Anyways, it's ok. Beshogur (talk) 08:35, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
