Disruptive editor alert[edit]

User:Chatterleybuns958 been putting shows that don't cite that they're part of Peak TV (or Golden Age, prestige). Please block him. Espngeek (talk) 17:44, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Espngeek: They've been p-blocked from the article. In the future, you'll find it more effective if you report disruptive behaviour to the relevant noticeboard, such WP:AIV for vandalism, WP:ANEW for edit warring (as was the case here, see [1]), WP:SPI for sock-puppeting, and WP:ANI for other behavioural issues that don't specifically fall under those other boards. For content disputes, go to WP:DR. Always remember to post the article talk page first, to try and start a discussion to resolve the issue, and also make sure you've posted the requisite notices or warnings to their user talk page before filing a report. Hope this helps. - wolf 20:21, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Should this article exist?[edit]

There's little connection between the shows listed other than they are all praised by some publication, the animated shows listed are usually cited as being part of a separate golden age of animation, the list just comes off as a list of TV shows of the past 20 years. Some of the sources don't even mention the show they supposedly list. Gazingo (talk) 01:24, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. The idea/phrase "Peak TV" is a western neologism anyway, and there's no process or metric involved in listing arbitrary shows here beyond "someone liked them". It's a nonsense page and very western focused. 82.69.69.211 (talk) 15:51, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
