Santa Barbara edit undo[edit]

Please, let's don't quibble, Dingle was removed from the Sister Cities list in the menu which you can see on the already cited Sister Cities main page, and its profile was also removed as you can see when you try to click on it from the page you provided.

I also repeat what I wrote in the edit summary: terminated relationships are not the subject of any of the twin towns lists and is undesirable to overcite termination of the relationship. I never said the news are not notable, but there is already the official source and there is absolutely no need to add other. Feel free to adress the situation on Santa Barbara's page. User:FromCzech: The page I provided says: "Currently, Santa Barbara's Sister Cities include Dingle, Ireland; Kotor, Montenegro; Patras, Greece; Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; San Juan Metro Manila, Philippines; Toba City, Japan; and Weihai, People's Republic of China." I found it by googling just as anyone else can and will in the future come and add it again. There was nothing on that reliable, noteworthy source that indicated that the Dingle relationship was removed until you pointed it out. You haven't cited any Wikipedia policies to justify your three reverts today. Since this is clearly a territorial thing for you, I will ask first. Can we please put the information about the termination in WP:HIDDEN text so that the next person who googles it like I just did will see it and not inadvertently cause whatever it is that you see as such a terrible disruption like I have just done? @Kire1975: Please accept my apologies for breaking the three revert rule, I didn't realize it, I was just upset that you ignored the reasons I wrote in the edit summary. I also apologize for forgetting the signature. It happens. If I knew it would trigger such a whirlwind of sarcasms, I would definitely be more careful.

Hidden text is OK, if it should end this discussion; but imho it is quite useless, when the main source is properly updated. Most people would look at the source first before adding another. FromCzech (talk) 19:56, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
