this page needs some major updating. the organization should be better (there should be at least one listing by opus number), and a good few pieces are missing. The most complete list I know of can be found here: http://imslp.org/wiki/Felix_Mendelssohn-Bartholdy_-_Complete_Works_Edition#Serie_11:_F.C3.BCr_Pianoforte_allein

In general IMSLP has the answers to any other particular questions future editors might have, but let me cut a few of them off early:

-the "two musical sketches" at the bottom of the page refer to the WoO 19, which is really a "Zwei Klavierstucke" (Two Piano-Pieces) rather than a true Andante cantabile e Presto Agitato, which WoO 6 is. (See IMSLP -- WoO 19 is two separate creations whereas WoO 6 is one combined one.) So they should probably be correspondingly titled differently. -the Scherzo is WoO 2; the Scherzo a capriccio is WoO 3 -the 3 Caprices, Op. 33 is completely missing from the list. also really not sure where the subheadings of the Caprices Op. 16 are coming from, but the score should probably be our guide: http://imslp.info/files/imglnks/usimg/b/b1/IMSLP51498-PMLP22718-Mendelssohn_Op_16.pdf -also completely missing are the Variations Op. 82; the Variations Op. 83; the popular etude in F minor, WoO 1; Gondellied ("Gondola Song"), WoO 10; and the prelude and fugue, WoO 13.

Happy editing to whomever takes on the task, and thanks so much for doing so. 71.198.58.37 (talk) 06:28, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

just bumping the last comment! I'm not the person for the job but this page has major omissions and needs some extra organization, as the person above lays out excellently. Can someone bring over a regular contributor to pages like these to do the job? The worldwide musical community will much appreciate it, I'm sure! 74.101.146.82 (talk) 22:07, 10 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
