About the middle of XIXth century atlases and books of geography regarded Atjeh and Mindanao as independent states, despite that they were respectively a Dutch and a Spanish protectorates.
I don't understand why sometime we put Afghanistan and sometime Kabulistan to indicate the same state. In fact both names indicated the same state.
