Non-companies, government entities, etc.[edit]

There are a number of government agencies listed on the company lists here, but the page has been made non-editable. Can someone remove government agencies from this list since the list seems to pertain to corporations. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.69.183.33 (talk) 04:24, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The lead or introduction of the article states that this is "a list of non-government-owned spacecraft manufacturing companies and contractors." So why are government space agencies like USA's NASA, India's ISRO, Pakistan's SUPARCO, China's CNSA, etc. listed here? We need to clarify what this list is really about, and make the required changes. --EngineeringGuy (talk) 20:48, 3 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Defunct entities[edit]

There are a number of defunct entities (or entity appearing multiple times due to mergers). We could to either separate the list in tow one for existing and another one for defunct entities, or simply remove defunct entities or move them altogether to appropriate pages such as history of space age. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.112.167.85 (talk) 02:07, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why are govt bodies excluded?[edit]

Open question. Since I can't seem to find any answer. Why are govt bodies being excluded here? It seems to be in order to prevent certain countries from showing up here, since their govts are the only bodies that are involved in spacecraft manufacturing. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 18:28, 24 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
