* Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
Expand : Professional sports (crucial article explaining the salaried undertaking of sports)
* Sport industry (currently a sub-stub)
Photo : for pages listed in Category:Wikipedia requested images of sports and games and sub-categories.

lay-out[edit]

I changed the lay-out a bit to what I think is the best way to go. I did not make any other changes, so a revert is easily made. For some reason I can't get the St. Vincent & the Grenadines without an empty row for Dan Gadzuric, hopefully someone else sees what's going wrong there. Years active, etc.[edit]

It seems to me that a Years active column ought to be added to the tables here. It wasn't clear to me whether this article listed past sportspeople or just current ones but, since I see that Andre Agassi is listed in the Tennis table, I added Tim Tebow to the Football (Gridiron) table. Tim Tebow[edit]

Vague[edit]

I'm not a sports fan, but I happened to stumble across this article. The [[WP:LEAD|lead section}} currently reads:

The following is a list of athletes with dual nationality. It includes both players who can trace their origins to a foreign country and those who have attained foreign nationality during their career, as well as players who hail from semi-autonomous regions within countries.

This strikes me as vague. What does foreign country mean in this context? Presumably, this would be a country or countries other than the country or countries of notability as a sportsperson of the person listed. However, consider, for example, the List of Filipino American sportspeople article. By Philippine nationality law, as I understand it, nationality passes to descendants. U.S. nationality law (again, as I understand it) seems similar in this regard. Most of the persons listed in that other article, then, would be nationals of both the U.S. and the Philippines who have attained notability as sportspersons. I'm guessing that the intent of this article does not include listing all of these persons and all other persons in similar situations involving countries other than the U.S. and the Philippines. However, from the lead section, I'm not sure precisely who this article intends to list and who it intends not to list. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 18:40, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
