Sarrebourg: correct coat of arms?[edit]

Sarrebourg: 2 cities, one in France, one in Germany, both in French Sarrebourg, in German Saarburg - I guess the link to the French city is correct, but the coat of arms is that of the other place or, more precise, to the German sub-district.
There are three Sarrebourg/Saarburg arms to choose from:

  • - the German sub-district
  • - the German city
  • - the French city

Yet, what was the "republic's" coat of arms like prior to Louis XIV grabbing the place? Marschner (talk) 11:54, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
