FDR's statue in San Juan, Puerto Rico[edit]

My addition is a work in progress. The statue was commissioned by Puerto Rico Senate President Kenneth McClintock and House Speaker José Aponte in 2007. It was unveiled by President Clinton in 2008. It was placed in the Walk of Presidents, Paseo de los Presidentes in 2009 alongside the statues of 7 other presidents who had visited the US territory as sitting presidents (including Teddy Roosevelt, Hoover, Truman,Ike, JFK, LBJ, Ford. Since then, Obama was added, and Trump and Biden are missing. The FDR is distinctive because it is one of the few that includes ever-present Fala and it fully reveals his wheelchair.
