wp:listpeople[edit]

Per WP:LISTPEOPLE, there must be an article on each entry, or an appropriate ref on the entry itself--or the entry is to be deleted. This has already been discussed at length with one major contributor to this article.--Epeefleche (talk) 00:49, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See the discussion here.--Epeefleche (talk) 22:33, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Epeefleche, I know we already discussed on it and I agree there must be an article on each entry, or an appropriate ref on the entry itself. However, since I'm currently creating the missing pages and the list is my major reference point, you are Kindly required to not remove random entries of the list.

On the contrary you should help the project in a positive way helping me in creating the missing pages. Cialo (talk) 14:11, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Before you work on the articles please correct this list. A citation and small comment about who every redlink is. If you want a reference list please keep it in your userspace. Off2riorob (talk) 14:27, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would avoid general comments, because they would introduce the caos in the list. However players that achieved a victory in the considered single events (see the list heading) already have an adequate comment. On the contraty, I'm quikly creating a page for the few red linked players that appears without a comment. Cialo (talk) 13:41, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Players to be inserted in the list[edit]

The following players satisfy the list requirements and should be inserted in the list. However, before inserting the player in the list, it is necessary to create a wikipage for each player listed below.

Players without titles to be included in the list[edit]

Please include here players that have a wikipage but without the achievments to be inserted in the list.

The following players have not medals in the events cosidered in the list. However the wiki pages of these players are still part of the project: WikiProject Table tennis.

The following players achieved a medal in Latin American Table Tennis Championships and could be inserted in the list if it is decided to consider also this competition.

I support that (if referenced). Best.--Epeefleche (talk) 19:10, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Epeefleche, sure it would be referenced. However I'm currently creating pages of players that has been removed from the list. Cialo (talk) 09:06, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cialo. Great work. Yes -- I should have said, "as long as each entry is referenced or has an article about him/her". Best.--Epeefleche (talk) 17:46, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Players with medals in the African Table Tennis Championships[edit]

The following players achieved a medal in African Table Tennis Championships and could be inserted in the list if it is decided to consider also this competition.

I would be supportive of that (as long as it is referenced). Best.--Epeefleche (talk) 19:09, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The following players achieved a medal in North American Table Tennis Championships and could be inserted in the list if it is decided to consider also this competition.

I would be supportive of that (as long as it is referenced). Best.--Epeefleche (talk) 19:09, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Players with medals in the Oceania Table Tennis Championships[edit]

The following players achieved a medal in Oceania Table Tennis Championships and could be inserted in the list if it is decided to consider also this competition.

I would be supportive of that (as long as it is referenced; the first one is already clearly notable). Best.--Epeefleche (talk) 19:09, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fake names[edit]

Some non-existent or non-notable players have been added to the list. Someone who is knowledgeable about table tennis should try to sort it out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.126.135.229 (talk) 13:39, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Junior World Championships and Youth Olympic Games[edit]

I suggest including gold, silver and bronze medalists in single events at the Youth Olympic Games, as well as gold medalists in single events at the World Junior Table Tennis Championships. Both competitions are rated R1 by ITTF along with the Olympic Games, Individual and Team World Championships and the World Cup. Besides, I suggest including gold medalists in single events at the Pan American Games as well. What do you guys think? -- ThiagoSimoes (talk) 20:59, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Make a large table or multiple tables[edit]

Do you think this should be in table(s) so that it looks a bit neater? Especially if there are players who won world, regional or Olympic titles and those who are active or retired.
