Untitled[edit]

This list page should be structured more like the List of Copyright Case Law, where the cases are sorted according to country and then put in chronological order. This would clarify which cases are relevant in various jurisdictions, and chronological order is more legally significant than alphabetical order. Alternatively, it would be helpful to at least have brief parentheticals that provide context for why the case is important. Arttechlaw (talk) 14:32, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Move to "List of trademark case law in the United States of America"[edit]

This list only includes mentions of cases from the United States. Wikipedia articles should present a worldwide appreciation of their subject or at least indicate that they are not doing so. Since not much progress has been made on this front since a suggestion over two years ago, I propose adding the qualifier "US" to the title. Confining the list to US cases leaves sufficient scope for the article and avoids an anglo-saxon bias--remember that case law has a lesser role in non-common law legal systems.
