Earl of Castlehaven, tried in 1631, accuracy of charge[edit]

Shouldn't the charge be rape (on his wife a secondary principal) and buggery (with the page) rather than just rape. (I am assuming that the English offence of buggery was extended to Ireland). James500 (talk) 00:58, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
