Country references need fixing[edit]

In some cases it reads "UK" or "US" behind a film maker and in others it reads "United Kingdom" or "United States". Some names have no country behind it at all. This should be fixed, but I am not sure what is the best custom because I am a beginning wiki-editor: should we use abbreviations for countries like United Kingdom and United States or not? I also see that Australia is also abbreviated to AUS for the MacDougall's, but not for all the other film makers from Australia. Please, give me some directions and I will happily start fixing these issues. After that I might also add some major films to this list that are missing. Reordering?[edit]

Would anyone object if I reorganized this list so that it's alphabetical by filmmaker's last name? Having it be chronological is useful in some ways, but it becomes unwieldy when a filmmaker's work spans decades. Thanks. Ninafundisha (talk) 18:15, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
