Categories too hard to find[edit]

I finally found "Category:Visitor attractions", after extensive work on this article. I doubt that a casual reader has any chance of finding it. We need a better way to point to categories if we're going to rely on readers finding them. Simesa (talk) 23:49, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Geographical Map of Tourist Attractions with Ranking[edit]

Can anybody contribute a link to a map with the geographical location of tourist attractions, which is able to show different categories and rankings of such attractions ? I only know the material provided on the maps of www.viamichelin.com but it is rather uncomfortable, hidden and cannot be sorted according to the number of stars attributed to a tourist spot. --79.230.36.86 (talk) 12:13, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Purpose/intended content of this list?[edit]

I just removed several entries under Cambodia which were not lists of attractions, but rather specific destinations (cities). I removed these because this is supposed to be a list of lists, and it makes no sense to include every individual place that tourists might visit.

Then I ran across the Iran section, which includes entries like "Visitor attractions in Shiraz." However, that page doesn't exist - the link directs to Shiraz. That page does include a section about tourist attractions. However, again, if that sort of entry is ok for this list, then doesn't it open the door to links for every single city in the world?

Would I be right to remove any link that is not an ACTUAL, self-contained list of tourist attractions? That does seem to be the intended content of the page, but I'd love some input on this. Thanks! Jessicapierce (talk) 17:55, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
