Collage made by the oldest extant lithographic Limestone printed book of shahnameh, Bombay, 1845, Majid Farahani

Not done. Find a proper reliable source first that tells for sure which technique was used for printing it... Thomas.W talk to me 18:09, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
Also, it's not a historic document from 1845. Majid Farahani is a modern artist being promoted by addition of this image. Pinkbeast (talk) 20:10, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

The principle of lithography

Lithography was developed by Senefelder during the time he lived in Munich. Although he was born in Prague, he only spent a couple of weeks there as his father was an actor and appeared on stage in Prague. Could someone therefore correct the statement in the article that "Lithography was invented by Alois Senefelder in Bohemia in 1796". Senefelder lived in Bavaria at the time of the invention, which was an independent kingdom at that time. The source for this is ADB (Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie), or NDB (Neue Deutsche Biographie) albeit in German. Both are used as reference in the German article and thus can be found there. Done - it's been there since 2005 at least! Johnbod (talk) 17:19, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Dear Sir, I stumbled on your awesome Lithography page today. Awesome work!Very useful information about my research.

Just wanted to let you know that I found dead link on External Links: http://www.lithographie.li/ (Swiss Cities)

Also, I actually run website about printing technologies and i have article connected to Lithography named Offset Lithography (http://www.offsetprintingtechnology.com/sub-categories/offset-lithography/).

It might make a nice addition to your page. Either way, keep up the great work you’re doing.

King Regards

Partly done: I've removed the dead link. I'll leave others to determine if your article is a reliable source for Wikipedia. Anon126 (notify me of responses! / talk / contribs) 16:20, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
