Photo[edit]

I believe this photo is of a Little Pied Cormorant. I'd be happy to have it featured in the gallery, but I'd want someone more knowledgeable to confirm the species.

I took the photo near a small inland lake at Gatton, Queensland, Australia.

Yep - cool picture!Cas Liber 11:27, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And the duck behind is maybe a Pacific Black Duck? There has been a Freckled Duck and some Cotton Pygmy-geese there recently. You should have a look for them. --Glen Fergus 23:15, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Microcarbo melanoleucos Austins Ferry 3.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on November 9, 2010. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2010-11-09. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! howcheng {chat} 18:41, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
