  • mmm. where is the Rom river???--Adriano 19:05, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
in Val Müstair, see Rom River. Markussep 21:27, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • and can it be considered to be part of Livigno range? Looks a bit too far away to me, I daresay... Unless Pass dal Fuorn is considered to be part of Livigno range... --Adriano 21:58, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, that's a tricky point. Is the range south of Val Müstair part of the Livigno range or the Ortler range. The map on Southern Limestone Alps suggests the latter (Ortler). I'll have to look into that. Markussep 07:55, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • From the administrative point of view, Pass dal Fuorn is in Switzerland, thus not part of the municipality of Livigno, which is in Italy. Geographically it could be considered as such... The best thing could be having a map, just like for Southern Limestone Alps. Have you got any? --Adriano 08:38, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
There is the map at Central Eastern Alps, if you look closely you see that the south-eastern tip of Switzerland is not included in area 20 (the Livigno range). The range is not limited to the municipality of Livigno, the mountains west of the village Livigno (incl. Piz Chaschauna), partly in Switzerland, are also included I think. We should find out what range the disputed peaks (Piz Murtaröl, Piz Schumbraida) are generally considered part of. Markussep 10:19, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • From that map you linked, it seems that Livigno's range goes as far as Pass dal Fuorn...

And you are right, there is a corner, between zones 20 and 16, which is not included in any area... For the records, Piz Caschauna (or Pizzo Cassana) IS part of the municipality of Livigno, at the border with Switzerland... --Adriano 13:33, 12 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
