Separate from Dumfries[edit]

I have reworded the introduction of the article to emphasise that Locharbriggs is officially regarded as a separate place from Dumfries (e.g. for census purposes) rather than being merely a suburb of the town. The previous wording also verged on original research and synthesis by adding together the population figures for the whole "urban area" and implying the "normally quoted" population figure for Dumfries is somehow wrong; I have amended this so only the Locharbriggs population is given here.
