Grammar[edit]

Whoever wrote this has trouble with basic grammar. Come on mate - you're selling the comics community short. People will see this and think that all comics readers are illiterate. SMARTEN UP YOUR ACT or SHIP OUT. PULL UP YOUR SOCKS.

Well, it may have be written by someone who is either very young or dyslexic, so don't be too hard. Also try to sign your posts. It goes to your own credibility if nothing else. As to the article, I'll fix it. Asgardian (talk) 04:51, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

Although other images with Thanos do exist, I think the presence of Thanos in the image pull attention from the characters/series, as it's not Thanos AND Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers. I think either the first issue (non variant),[1], or second issues [2] would be better representative of the series. -Sharp962 (talk) 19:33, 18 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Yes, but the beauty of this cover is the animals are named, which is a big help. Asgardian (talk) 00:18, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree the naming is nice, but I'd rather see have a pic with no names than one with Thanos. I would liken it to having the FF cover pic with Doom center, or Avengers with Loki. Thanos is overpowering and distracting from the central characters in the series. -Sharp962 (talk) 14:12, 19 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]
Few ¢...
The article is framed with the comic as the focus, not the characters. Using the full cover of the first issue does tend to be preferable in those cases.
It's also preferable to not use one that has a watermark.
Right now, the covers I can find are the Gaschet and Henrichon... The first seems to fit better.
