Hallmark[edit]

Something called the Hallmark Institute of Photography, which is advertising her, is sourced for great claims. The Institute actually says Lois Greenfield has been compared with Eadweard Muybridge for exploration of human locomotion, and with Cartier Bresson for capturing the elusive moment. But it doesn't name the people who made the comparison, or specify where it was.

I'd say that something like this is worthless as a source. Am I too harsh? -- Hoary (talk) 05:26, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Artist statement"[edit]

The article had a long "Artist statement" until I removed it in this edit. WP has many articles on photographers but as far as I know none has a lengthy "artist statement". Greenfield has a website; she's welcome to put her statement there. -- Hoary (talk) 13:45, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
