Why the Racists/Offensive Designation of This African Group?[edit]

You introduce these ancient African people using the Spanish expression of what "loko" means in the Spanish language. The African people are not Spanish. To read in the immediate introduction how the Spanish defines "Loko" is racist and offensive although you might not have intended it to be so. It would be more appropriate to define the Loko people by how THEY defined themselves and the Orotho/ethnolographic history of their name and what it means TO THEM in THEIR culture. The word "Loko" is an AFRICAN name attributed to an ancient tree which is sacred as being the home of their ancestors. Tribes, their Origens, Tradition and their Cultures. Please do not guess, because you are damaging the Names of some tribes like this one above, "The Loko TRIBE IN Sierra Leone" The above informations, is completely blasphsmy. This sort of Blasphamy cause very heuge domage to the Loko people of Sierra Leone, Worldwide. If you Need more reliable Information about Sierra Leone, Please find and read the History of Sierra Leone,by Christopher Fyfe, and Short History of Sierra Leone by Magbely File.

The Loko people Have a very rich History, For example Ask the Sierra Leone Government to give you Information About an Army commander named Bangura who seized and returned power to former president Siaka P. Steven in the sixties when he was overthrowned by some junior military Juntas?. Also What about Formar second Vice president of Sierra Leone, C.A. Kamara Taylor,and people like DR. Lahai Taylor, Gbessy Sesey, Formar Sierra Leone International Foot baller, Abu Kanu (Gbana Loko), Try also to find out why Port Loko District Bears that name, and meny rich facts about the Loko tribe in Sierra Leone.

History can also prove to you that the Loko tribe is the original owner of that country, Sierra Leone, because all those tribe who came as early settlers met the Loko people in that Land when they arrived. etc. Please find out more abut the loko tribe in Sierra Leone. The fact is simply because they have sidelined themselves for quit a long time because of political reasons.......................
