Public domain[edit]

Uh, no. Only Federal Government text is within the public domain. The County asserts copyright on other sites, see here and here. Although the items are public records under the California Public Records Act, the County still reserve the rights of republishing, especially for commercial use. In addition, even with public domain text, it is poor form to not cite. Calwatch (talk) 03:48, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
