Chronology[edit]

'graduated with a first in English in 1968, and gained an MPhil in 19th-century English Studies (1973), MA (1979). He taught English at the University of Malawi between 1972 and 1974.'

Does 'MA (1979)' mean that his BA was converted to an MA in the normal (Oxford) run of things? How does the MPhil (1973) fit in with the teaching at the University of Malawai between 1972 and 1974? Snugglepuss (talk) 18:26, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
