Much of the article seems to be more about the company than the man. While some information about the company should be there as part of the biography, the majority should go in a separate article about the company.

I fixed part of this, but it could use some checking for flow and cohesiveness.

Additional sources for verification[edit]

The article has two sources, both of which seem like advertisements for the brand. Are there any independent sources about the life of Louis Cartier? There are no in-line citations either. One of the two sources spells his name "Lois", while the other says "Louis". Which is right?

I tried to access the first external link, which is supposed to go to http://www.educativ.info/lib/cartier.html Um, no. I got slingshot to a locked Russian website, http://err.hc.ru/locked/ I double-checked the link, same problem. Ann.landrey (talk) 05:35, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
