Titles, genealogy & property

This article -- and the other Bourbon & Orleans articles recently edited -- are being padded out with extraordinary redundancies & trivia about titles, genealogy & property. Some of these may be mentioned, but should not be elaborated upon -- that's what history books and novels are for. She was notable only because her son became king, her husband was a royal-cum-revolutionary, and her dad was very rich: Her actual life could easily be summed up in 2 short paragraphs. But in this article her children are listed twice, and also mentioned in the text. Ditto for her titles. I reduced the amount of space given to lists of her possessions and to her in-laws & siblings (all of whom have their own articles or are listed under their parents). The separate sections created for a "gallery" and for a single painting of her are un-Wiki and un-encyclopedic. The more redundant/excessive details get put back in, the more that will be deleted. Please stop. And please, no use of sockpuppets. FactStraight (talk) 20:24, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Louise Marie Adélaïde de Bourbon-Penthièvre

There is an error in the name. It should be Louise Marie Adélaïde de Bourbon as Penthièvre is not a family name. The last name at birth of all the members of the House of Bourbon-Toulouse-Penthièvre is de Bourbon, nothing after, but titles: Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, comte de Toulouse ; Louis Jean Marie de Bourbon, duc de Penthièvre ; Louis Alexandre de Bourbon, prince de Lamballe ; Louise Marie Adélaïde de Bourbon, Mlle de Penthièvre. So many unnecessary names, adjectives, titles are added/repeated to this & related articles that the whole Bourbon history is beginning to look like a "tarte à la crème" piled with more & more cream. There are so many repetitions from one article to the other that, while reading or editing one of them, one has a hard time keeping track of the personage the article is about. Frania W. Frania, I encourage you to post at WT:NC(NT) about the naming of French royalty. It needs an overhaul. It is also because of this that I am compiling a genealogical list of all of the members of the House of Bourbon with articles, in order of seniority, in a subpage. If you do post at WT:NC(NT), I will follow very shortly with my comments. Charles 22:31, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Excellent suggestion. FactStraight (talk) 07:05, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

new IP without history

Strange these anonymous IPs with no history that pop up, replacing a former anonymous IP with no history but using same tactics as if they were clones: correct, add, remove, and always with no word of explanation. Unless the mistake is obvious, a reason should be given for change(s). Frania W. (talk) 02:14, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

Marie-Adélaïde's last years

"Her last years were embittered by disputes with her children over money.[citation needed]"

This sentence, for which no "citation" has been given so far, should be removed as it does not make much sense. Whoever wrote this must have read it somewhere. Why not have given the source then? If/when this gets established, then the sentence can be put back with proper citation. Frania W. (talk) 13:12, 1 June 2008
