Louise Smith[edit]

She was NEVER a "trooper". Her official state job title was "STATE POLICE WOMAN". They were similar to what was known at the time as a police "matron", for the CONNECTICUT STATE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

She was hired app. 1968, and left for the CONNECTICUT DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH (later called DMHAS) after app. 10 years. It was DMHAS where she retired from as an AGENCY POLICE OFFICER with app 20 years of service total state service.

Her pension can be publicly viewed on the CONNECTICUT open pension website. Note----she did NOT receive as STATE POLICE PENSION. 69.123.95.180 (talk) 04:53, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
