Lubna Salim is a well known name on Indian stage, film and television. She has also worked in web series like The Gone Game, Sandwiched Forever, The Aam Aadmi Family.
Her Roles in films like OMG – Oh My God! as Paresh Rawal's wife, Ritesh Batra's film Photograph (film) and Jabbar Patel's film Yashwantrao Chavan Bakhar Eka Vaadalaachi got her critical acclaim.
She is a popular face with many TV commercials to her credit, the recent ones being Kwality Walls Ice cream, Daawat Basmati Rice, Cadbury's Eid, Mother Dairy Icecream Parampara, Red Label, Milk Bikis, Pepsodent, Finolex, Rin, Suthol, Nestle, Q mobile to name a few.
Her serials Rishton Ka Chakravyuh, Khidki, Ek Packet Umeed, Mera Naam Karegi Roshan, Daaman, Chhatrapati Shivaji , 2025 Jaane Kya Hoga Aage and Mariam Khan - Reporting Live have made her a household name. Lubna started her theatre journey at a young age of 7 and till date she has performed all over the world with more than 1000 shows of various plays to her credit. In 2004, she formed her own theatre group called "Essay" along with her father Javed Siddiqui, the eminent film writer and her husband Salim Arif, another well-known name in theatre and films.
She has produced and anchored musical shows on the literary greats like Ghalibnaama with Jaswinder Singh/Talat Aziz. Subahe Watan Faiz aur Ellis ki yaad mein, with Rekha Bhardwaj, Amrita Pritam aur Imroz, Mantonaama, Ghazal ka safar, Ghalib se Gulzar tak, Bhairav se Bhairavi (classical traditions of music), Sufiana (a blend of sufism and bhakti movement). She has been anchoring the great ghazal festival "Khazana" for many years now.
Her childrens' musical productions include Gulzar's Pinocchio, Gopi gayan baaga baayan, Nuclear Sher, Panchatantra and the latest Boski ke kaptan chacha. She has many prominent plays to her credit like Humsafar, Kachche Lamhe, Kharaashein, Lakeerein, Paansa(Draupadi ans Yudhishtir) Sunte ho, Arre O Henry, Tajmahal ka udghatan, Atthaniyaan, Aapki Soniya (sequel of Tumhari Amrita) Godan, Bakri, Anji, Aazar ka khwab, Atmakatha, Peele Patton ka ban, Mera kuchh samaan and many more. Gudamba, her latest full length solo stage play has been invited in literary festivals and has gained her huge critical acclaim and accolades.

Not done: This proposed addition is not sourced well; please provide inline citations. Additionally, it is not written with WP:NPOV in mind. Statements such as "well known name on Indian stage...", " popular face", etc. are inappropriate for Wikipedia as they reflect personal opinion or liberal interpretation of the existing source material. Please rewrite to meet the relevant guidelines, and remember to provide reliable secondary sources (WP:RS and WP:BLP) for any claims likely to be challenged.
