What Was She Known As?[edit]

There appears to be an inconsistency in what she was known as, which deserves checking to see if both names were actually used by her. She is called 'Aunt Elizabeth' in introductory passage, and 'Aunt Lucy' much later in article. I have evidence from a literary guide agreeing she was called the latter name, but no mention of the other name.Cloptonson (talk) 20:01, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Her book (which can be viewed at Google Books) has 'Aunt Lucy', so I changed the intro. Wire723 (talk) 13:41, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Uncertain birth date[edit]

Article has 31 March 1836, copied from DNB.

Web version of DNB has 1829x36.

Her father's article has 1830.

Library of Congress has death date but no birth date.

Maybe 1830 was misread as 1836? Wire723 (talk) 13:49, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The 1841 and 1851 and 1861 censues give her age as 11, 20 and 30, respectively, suggesting she was born in or around 1830, rather than 1836. Jcspurrell (talk) 12:27, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Updated article to 1830. Wire723 (talk) 08:17, 9 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
