Sourcing[edit]

I’ve found this nuncio's career far more difficult to document than others I've worked on. I’ve drawn on the entry on the Italian Wikipedia for some details, though I haven’t simply translated that entry. And this entry has some precise citations that the Italian equivalent lacks. It just names sources in bulk. I have some bits here that are not found there, the commission to respond to Communism and that Centoz was replaced as Vice Camerlengo, a fact I managed to document after discovering some information in GCatholic. The Catholic Hierarchy website makes it look like Centoz died as Vice Camerlengo, which is just wrong. And the fact that he is sometimes called Louis, which may help track down more material.
