Luis Miguel (TV series) → Luis Miguel: The Series – WP:COMMONNAME. The name in English sources is "Luis Miguel: The Series" and in Spanish sources it's "Luis Miguel: La Serie". Oppose: In the official Netflix site only appears as "Luis Miguel". "The Series" is more like a subtitle. Also, nowhere in the title do you see two points, in other places it appears as "Luis Miguel, la serie", so why should we take into account the two points and not the comma or the script that appears before the name as for example here.-- · Bradford ✉ 23:58, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- "The Series" is indeed a subtitle, but it's still part of the title. We can discuss what punctuation to use, but that's not really the argument here. - Again: yes, it is a subtitle, just like Deadwood: The Movie, From Dusk till Dawn: The Series, Tangled: The Series, Big Hero 6: The Series, Transporter: The Series, Friday the 13th: The Series and many more. Comment—I decided to take a look at available sources where name prevelance might be ascertained. Looks like it's all over the board, no definitive value. If I personally were to pick a value, it would either be the Billboard article value, or that from Forbes, where the author states "I’m an expert in the Hispanic media industry." --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:42, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  - That is not quite what the example set shows. It shows that some English sources have chosen 'the series' and others 'la serie' (or variants of each). I'm particularly drawn to the Billboard example, as I've generally considered this outlet to provide definitive entertainment information when the author is an identified staff member with a specified role in the organization. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 04:04, 21 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

- You can't disagree with facts, Andrewa.
