Luis Silva (soccer)Luis Silva – As per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, the soccer player is the topic that is most likely to be searched for by Wikipedia users. He's one of the top players in Major League Soccer and is a more popular subject than the 9th placed finisher in the 2003 election for the mayor of Toronto. The main Luis Silva page is currently a general redirect to Toronto municipal election, 2003, but a link at the top of the soccer player's page can easily redirect anyone searching for the politician to the election page as he's not notable enough to have his own. • Comment -- Even the soccer player is hardly very notable yet, but we do not keep articles on failed election candidates, so that the redirect can safely be overwritten, subject to ensureing that there are no misleading incoming links. Alternatively convert the target to a dabpage, since neither of them are very notable. Peterkingiron (talk) 20:15, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Clear primary topic to me because the soccer player is actually notable, while the politician (I use that word in the loosest term) is not and likely never will be. A hatnote should be more than enough. Jenks24 (talk) 15:26, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
