Shouldn`t this article have an ``Infobox Settlement``, like all of the other Nova Scotian towns —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.73.161.207 (talk) 20:30, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested improvements[edit]

  • Demographics needs update to 2016.
  • Dialect doesn't need its own section.
  • A lot of the images are also on linked pages e.g. Raid on Lunenburg. Not that they're not good imgs it's just there are too many and some should go.
  • lot of references should be improved, e.g. refs to archive.org need something current; pretty sure Peter Landry is self-published. Refs to Bell aren't done properly. Bare URLs need fixing.
  • References section should not have a subsection called Texts, it should be in a further reading section. Actually it's probably redundant.
  • External links should not have a lengthy Biographies subsection, they should be used as references.
  • it should be made explicitly clear what is the difference between this article and Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia and Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, that's rather confusing.
  • there's very little about geography, government, sports, education, infrastructure as there usually is in such an article. There's a lot that could be said about the architecture and why it's a UNESCO town.
  • The history section is given undue weight and detail compared to the rest of the article. Nothing wrong with historical info, but a lot of what's in this article is covered elsewhere in Wikipedia such as Lunenburg Campaign (1758), Raid on Lunenburg, Nova Scotia (1756), Raid on Lunenburg, Nova Scotia (1782), Foreign Protestants, Father Le Loutre's War, Military history of the Mi’kmaq people, Military history of the Acadians, Gorham's Rangers etc. etc. etc. At the moment the history reads like a laundry list of events rather than a narrative. Suggest cutting back some of the WP:CONTENTFORKING. --Cornellier (talk) 21:18, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lunenburg in German Wikipedia[edit]

Hi everyone; I recognized that the article on Lunenburg in the German WP is...well... Coming from Lueneburg Cty in Germany, I am not really happy with that. I am going to try to change that. I will start with a verbally translation of this site for whatever facts are not in the German WP. so, just to not step on anyones toes (insert Canadian flag here) I would love to receive any arguments that would tell me that this is not OK. (Oh, BTW, I DO know about the commons license...but doesn't hurt to ask) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lost Boy (talkcontribs) 18:33, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wait wut. What are you proposing? There's something you don't like about this ? --Cornellier (talk) 21:46, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
