Huh? What is this? Rmhermen 04:18 21 May 2003 (UTC)

Apart from the first paragraph and the list at the end, it's an uncredited excerpt from the Luther Blissett manifesto. There's more of an actual explanation at Luther Blissett. -- Paul A 04:27 21 May 2003 (UTC)
Now I know where it is from but I still don't know what it is supposed to mean. Which I think is an important point when writing an encyclopedia. Rmhermen 05:23 21 May 2003 (UTC)

Milan signing[edit]

I changed this bit:

Another theory is that the name comes from the fact that Luther Blissett was purchased by AC Milan due to Milan scouts confusing him with the arguably more talented John Barnes.

to this:

Another theory is that the name comes from the claim sometimes made in footballing circles that Luther Blissett was purchased by AC Milan due to Milan scouts confusing him with the arguably more talented John Barnes.

as while football fans sometimes claim that Milan signed Blissett by "mistake" there is absolutely no evidence that it is a "fact"

I think this should be cut from the entry. There is no truth in it what so ever, and it boarders on the raceist assuming Milan's scouts couldn't tell one black player from another. Djarra 15:11, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
