Advertising, possible conflict of interest

I have done a general clean-up of the article and also removed some information that may be advertising for a company called Synageva, including a link in the external links sectino which seems to be a disguised link to recruit for Synageva's drug trials.

I also note that the material in question was introduced by two users called "User:Jennhedly" and "User:JennH123". These may be the same person, and may be the same person as Jennifer Hedly, who is listed by LinkedIn as "Admin" at Synageva. If so, then I would like to caution that either or both of the users face a conflict of interest issues in introducing that may be advertising for her (?) employer. --PalaceGuard008 (Talk) 14:16, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Notes

Yesterday I merged content from Cholesteryl ester storage disease and Wolman disease into this article and completely worked the content over, fitting it into the article outline provided in WP:MEDMOS. Things are a bit complicated on outcomes because as of last year there is an enzyme replacement therapy for this disease and long term outcomes are not known yet, and there are no reviews that have been written subsequent to the approval of that drug. Will be interesting to update this in a couple of years.

These articles appear to have been heavily edited by conflicted editors: i'll record that in tags above later today. Jytdog (talk) 17:46, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

User:FeldBum - about this. Please see my note above. You basically undid all the work I had done to source this article per WP:MEDRS and make it fit our style guide for articles about disease, WP:MEDMOS. When Alexion introduced this drug they came here and wrote article to sell their drug. Not good. Jytdog (talk) 02:43, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
Ah, i just saw User:FeldBum/sandbox/LALD... that is where all that content came from ! Jytdog (talk) 03:17, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
That is where all the content is coming from. I always write in my sandbox first, for major edits. I'll try to fit everything into WP:MEDMOS. I get the numerous sections now. It seemed excessive to me. --FeldBum (talk) 04:20, 15 April 2016 (UTC)

Wolman and CESD

Since all three are considered one disease now, I think we should refer to the disease consistently on the page as LAL-D, and remove the old distinction based on disease onset. Text about historical naming should stay. Thoughts? --FeldBum (talk) 19:51, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

am good with that. thanks! Jytdog (talk) 21:05, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
