I am quickfailing this. Please review WP:WIAGA. Note that the WP:LEAD should summarize the entire article. I suggest including at least a one sentence summary of each subsequent section. I agree that the lead is a bit short. However, per WP:WIAGA inline citations are needed for direct quotations, statistics, published opinion, counter-intuitive or controversial statements that are challenged or likely to be challenged.
