Info on family?[edit]

Family?[edit]

If anyone has access to the Press obituaries, it would be interesting to know what's said about his family. I know there was at least one son (Tony James) with whom I was friendly as a colleague in the readers' room at the Herald and Weekly Times, Melbourne, during the 1960s. Photograph?[edit]

Am I the only one who thinks it is a bit sad that the photograph on his page is of Montogomery? I think it would be better, and more informative, if there was one of Clifton James. If no one objects, I will seek one out. 89.100.251.145 (talk) 21:10, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The photo link (the genuine monty) is improper in that it does not link to the man himself but to a disambiguation page —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.230.83.45 (talk) 18:00, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There is a much better pictue on the page now. Let's hope it can stay. 89.101.208.222 (talk) 12:30, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to see more evidence that the picture is genuine and is not subject to copyright. A scan by unprovenanced user StripeyCat does not establish that user as the owner of the 70-year-old photo. A fair use rationale seems to be warranted.
