This review has been announced on the talk page of WikiProject Israel. Comments should be added on this page, below.

As part of the Notability wikiproject, I am trying to sort out whether this topic is notable enough to have its own article. The article claims that this company is "one of the largest law firms in Israel". Then certainly some secondary sources (press coverage about the company's history, etc.) should exist. But no sources are given in the article. What do you think - does the company pass WP:CORP?

I can't seem to find anything on the company apart from listings on law websites (57 Ghits), and certainly nothing in the mainstream English media. In Hebrew I found four or five mentions on news sites, but they were mostly about the actual lawyers rather than the firm. Therefore the depth of coverage could not be said to substantial and I don't believe it passes WP:CORP. Number 5 7 19:16, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment- Seligman is one of the largest law firms in Israel, and Eli Zohar is one of the leading advocates in the country. Among his clients are public and political figures- PM Olmert, former General Commisioner of the Israeli police Moshe Karadi and more. Many ghits in hebrew and english for Zohar. WP:CORP states:"notable if it has been the subject of coverage in secondary sources", I think this case is border-line, since most sources relate to its leading advocate. Well... The result of the review is then rather unclear to me. If sources exist as you state, then an article on either the firm or about Zohar might be appropriate. The sources seem to be more about the professional activity of Zohar, not about his biogragphy, so the law firm article might be the best place in the end. I will remove the notability tag for now, and add an "expand". If you disagree, feel free to propose the article for deletion instead. --B. Wolterding 17:08, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
