Anyone who can stop the edit-war?[edit]

I mean, there are three of us who disagree with User:Bkonrad, still he is reverting more than three edits in 24 hours!--Jack Jealine (talk) 13:58, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Jack Jealine (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

Not only are we three, but the use MGM as male genital mutilation/modification is both used in public media and in academic journals.--Élisée P. Bruneau (talk) 14:36, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
To stop the edit war, please read WP:MOSDAB. You will see that there should be no entry in the disambiguation page unless there is evidence (sourced) in the target page which shows that the term is used for that topic. Find one of the sources in "public media and in academic journals" which clearly shows that MGM is a term used for Male Genital Mutilation/Modification, add a well-sourced statement at the target article showing that the abbreviation is used, and then, but not before, add one (but not both) of the entries to the dab page. If the link is to stay, read the section you're linking to. Modification is the neutral term, not mutilation. --NeilN talk to me 16:18, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

To expand, foreskin restoration, infibulation, and pearling are not generally considered "mutilations". --NeilN talk to me 16:26, 13 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
