Does anybody know whether MOG is still operative? The website haven't been functioning for like a month now. So I was just wondering. Adriaan90 ( TalkContribs ) ♪♫ 17:43, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Difference to last.fm?[edit]

in the article it says "MOG is similar to Last.fm, but it first uploads a listing of a user's digital music collection to their MOG page, then it keeps track of what music is played on the user's computer."

but isn't that exactly what last.fm does too? (apart from having radio stations additionally) can somebody please be more specific? I'm a last.fm user, but not one of MOG, so I wouldn't know... 87.188.51.245 (talk) 13:10, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MOG is the only online-radio-station type thing I've found so far that lets me create an artist-only radio station, so it's definitely different to last.fm (and Pandora) in that respect.

Also I didn't read anything about any music lists being uploaded while signing up for either, either, especially considering that this computer (work) has no music on it they're not going to get an accurate idea of my collection... AFAIK the only lists being created are what I'm listening to, what I like, what I don't like, and that's perfectly fine with me - it saves me a job :-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.248.74.254 (talk) 21:06, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mog logo.png[edit]

Image:Mog logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 21:40, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

I've added the disambiguation hatnote to this article for the simple reason that it needs it. Mog (the webiste) is not the origin of the term, unique to the website or the primary use of the word.

Matt Zero (talk) 12:37, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed it, mog does not redirect here so it's pointless. SmartSE (talk) 22:34, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
