Apparent blatant hijacking of page by its subject[edit]

This page has been transformed into an extension of the network's webpage, complete with trumpeting of the virtues of its "vision" and "mission" and extensive listings of its shows. These, as they are written, are inconsistent with encyclopedic tone in general and several important policies in particular. However, most disconcerting is that a previously well-sourced section that treated the network's seven-year shutdown (amidst a complicated legal and political situation) in neutral language has been replaced with a two-sentence, non-sourced statement which is much more flattering to the network. Now, having not yet reviewed the revision history in its entirety, I cannot say for certain that this article is being maintained primarily by those working on behalf of the media outlet, but it certainly looks to be the case. In any event, the page needs a rewrite from the ground up and possibly some protection down the road, unless the active editors (whatever their personal involvement/motivation) show an ability to adapt to be consistent with WP:V, WP:NPOV and so forth and do not remove sourced content.
