Brisbane line[edit]

I'm moving the following text because it was in the article without any context or other explanation why it's notable:

During the film mentions are made of the "Brisbane Line" "...there is no record that any [Australian] Government accepted such a plan or that such a plan was even considered by a Government before February 1942." [1]

Art Fleming's role[edit]

I just watched the film on TV and at the White House, the actor who played Harry S. Truman on multiple occasions asked questions to "Alben" and was answered Art Fleming. The Vice President of the United States under Truman was Alben W. Barkley. --rogerd (talk) 13:17, 6 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Joint Chiefs[edit]

It is true that the JCS of today were established in 1949, but there has been a predecessor, under admiral Leahy.

So the term "Joint Chiefs" is correct. It was a body created by FDR to "manage" the war on the strategic level. --2A02:908:1222:C020:7076:E0B:DD4D:80FA (talk) 20:37, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
