Most of the article is good, but I noticed a few problems. Here they are:

  • The biggest problem is the fact that is contains a lot of the words to avoid. Most uses of the word "only" should be taken away. Things like "Intel-only" are okay, though, and the sentence "...used to be only available to QuickTime Pro owners" is alright, too, because that gives the reader the detail that no one else could use it. Words like "however", "despite", and "although" should either be removed or changed.
  • Some things seem like a bit of original research. For example, the sentence "It cost $29.95 and came with a t-shirt" should have a source to prove it's true. The two sentences after that should also be sourced. (That part is in the Public Beta: "Kodiak" section, by the way.) The paragraph right after that needs sources, too. However, the sentence "The initial version was slow, incomplete, and had very few applications available at the time of its launch, mostly from independent developers" is alright.

The source for the $29.95 price makes no mention of a shirt being included. Furthermore, I personally remember buying the 10 Public Beta, and have no such shirt. As I am a well-regarded pack-rat (ask my wife) I'm sure I'd have it if I ever received it. dB (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 07:18, 21 April 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Those are all the problems I could find. Don't be afraid to ask any questions (don't be afraid to ask for help, either, because I know changing that much seems a bit overwhelming). --Hadger 03:47, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nuked most of the onlys that were used in he article. NerdyScienceDude :) (✉ click to talkmy editssign) 04:30, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have added citations to the Public Beta section. Hopefully it's good now. NerdyScienceDude :) (✉ click to talkmy editssign) 06:07, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. I realized I made a mistake there. I am fine with the changes you made, but I realized the ways the word "only" is used on the article is okay (don't worry, you do not have to change it back). I really apologize for the inconvenience. You don't have to fix any more of the onlys. --Hadger 01:08, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
