Sasser's throwing problem[edit]

I'm a die-hard Met fan. I remember watching games when Sasser did indeed hesitate before throwing the ball to second to try to catch guys stealing. It didn't happen as often as when he threw the ball back to the pitcher. And guys used to steal bases on him during his hesitation fits. That's really messed up that it affected him even after his career. I didn't know that.
