Invalid species[edit]

This species was synonymised with Chelodina rugosa by Georges and Thomson, 2010, reviewed and accepted by Rhodin et al., 2011. Hence I propose it be merged with that page. Cheers, Faendalimas ^talk 20:00, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I actually created a Chelodina kuchlingi redirect to head off this problem, but forgot the genus issues. What I find extrodinary is that Rhodin "et al." does not list "Macrochelodina kuchlingi" as a synonym in the 2011 checklist when they themselves use that combination in previous checklists.
