This has to be completely re-done. First of all, the team is the Madison Capitols, not the Madison Capitals. Does this mean a new article is in order? 71.82.250.140 (talk) 21:02, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The seating capacity for the Coliseum is not over 10,000 for hockey. It's around 8500 (a bit more than it was when the ice surface was wider - when the Badgers played there, it was less than 8200). I don't remember the exact number, and it's hard to find, so I just removed that from the article. 71.82.250.140 (talk) 21:02, 24 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wisconsin Capitols end of an era[edit]

I took this edit out: "The Wisconsin Capitols would be replaced by a team in the UHL the following season known as the Madison Monsters." It could be misconstrued as the Capitols having played in the UHL versus the USHL, at any rate it would have been CoHL at the time of the Monsters' arrival in Madison. While I understand what the editor was trying to do, the Madison Monsters didn't replace the Capitols as a junior team and the main point of the franchise history is discussing junior hockey.Yojimbo1941 (talk) 15:47, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
