New Article[edit]

Just created this new article and obviously there are a lot of holes to fill. References for playoff games and other empty cells in the tables are needed. My wish list for this page would be to see sections detailing all that go into each of the networks' rights packages (ESPN getting first pick of games, MLS Cup, All-Star Game, World Football Challenge, etc... NBC getting select USMNT games, etc...) and a bit of history talking about MLS on ABC, Fox Soccer, and all the other former channels. Turning the section about game broadcasts from a list into a few paragraphs about the evolution of how the networks handled presentations (e.g. ESPN going from a destination night on Thurs to a more flexible schedule that we have today, etc.) would work well too. And we can't forget local broadcasts rights the teams have within their own markets. Serious problem[edit]

The article either needs to be expanded or renamed. It's only about MLS on American TV. It has been on Canadian TV regularly since TFC entered the league and key matches before that. It also has coverage in other countries. Walter Görlitz (talk) 22:50, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree 100% on this. The article is mainly about the broadcast of MLS in the U.S. There are many other countries that broadcast MLS as well, which is why the article could change name to "Major League Soccer on television in the U.S." or something like that. /Lighten-up (talk) 19:52, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
