Aurivirus = Haliotivirus?[edit]

It seems to me that what Savin et al. termed Haliotivirus has been officially included in the ICTV taxonomy as Aurivirus. Can I get any confirmation (and subsequent changes to Haliotivirus)? Thanks Bervin61 (talk) 21:17, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I can confirm this; see here. The currently accepted generic name is Aurivirus, but the species is still Haliotid herpesvirus 1. Ypna (talk) 09:27, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

One (well done) informatics paper isn't sufficient cause to start spamming your paper on how ITRs can cause integration, without evidence that such integrants can be part of a productive infection.

Self promotion is frowned upon, but acceptable with extraordinary proof. Self promotion on association isn't enough for me bru. Testtubewaltz (talk) 04:54, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
