Comments[edit]

Sejarah Melayu addressed India as Benua Keling and Indians as "Keling", a word taken from Kalinga, an ancient Indian kingdom which is likely the source of Indian influence over Southeast Asia.

Keling is used to represent TAMILS rather than indian or south indian.Indian Cultural expansion were done mostly by TAMILS and for a less extant BENGALIS and not TELUGUS or KALINGAS.It is also noted that Telugus had nothing to do with the Kalinga Kingdom of Orissa.--Vartharajulu Naidu (talk) 05:27, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestry[edit]

Intermarriges between Telugus with other south Indian community in Malaysia is common and the children of such marriages identifies themselves as Tamils or Indians, and mistakenly counted as Tamils

When a Telugu Woman marries a Tamil MAN,it is wrong to say that their child is TAMIL or vice versa. This Malaysian Telugu article delivers complete racism an incorrect information. This article requires deletion or rewrite.--Vartharajulu Naidu (talk) 05:33, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide the reliable reference[edit]

Hi to the editors who put the effort to create this page. But most of the information here are just assertion where there is no citation provided. As per the recent Malaysian census in 2010, every ethnic and their linguistic nature were observed where even the majority of Tamil people were divided into Sri Lankan and Indian and there were options also for Telugu. So going by this, some assertion in the page seems chauvinistic. Kindly be informed that some other editor can delete the sentences without references.--MalayaPutra (talk) 19:27, 21 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
