Water to Power[edit]

Will start off by saying that I was inspired to come to this page after looking into the "Water to Power" story and its reaction after watching the original story on PBS. I am 100% on the skeptical side of the story. That being said -- I removed the "Water to Power" controversy section as it consisted of original research. The section was about the reaction to story, not the story itself, and the content of it seemed to be derived from comment section on the PBS Newshour page which is not a reliable source. Furthermore, I could not find any reliable source discussing the story itself or any backlash, which therefore tells me it is not relevant enough for Wikipedia. PBS issued an editors note[1] addressing concerns, but again, given that no one else in media cares enough to write about the issue, it is not relevant.

Re your argument, "Furthermore, I could not find any reliable source discussing the story itself or any backlash..." How about this blog by the PBS Ombudsman himself, Michael Getler (an impeccable source) which does exactly that--discusses the story itself and backlash? - I uploaded a revision of the article a couple weeks back with that article as a source that got reverted (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Malcolm_Brabant&oldid=758250548).
